Let me tell you what happen: I downloaded the clamav-0.88.7 source package and compiled it, it installed successfully, but when I run clamd, I got "/usr/local/lib/libclamav.so.1: R_PPC_REL24 relocation at 0x0ff8e5a0 for symbol `fwrite' out of range" error. then I google searched this error and found http://lurker.clamav.net/message/20050201.205912.338909c7.en.html. My stupid is that I ran the yum remove gcc.ppc, it also remove some dependency packages which I did not wrote down. Now when I run yum install gcc.ppc, the gcc got installed, but it won't compile any source file again, it always give me error like: /tmp/ccPuQGXU.s: Assembler messages: /tmp/ccPuQGXU.s:9: Error: junk at end of line, first unrecognized character is `@' Vincent Li http://bl0g.blogdns.com _______________________________________________ yellowdog-general mailing list [email protected] http://lists.terrasoftsolutions.com/mailman/listinfo/yellowdog-general HINT: to Google archives, try '<keywords> site:terrasoftsolutions.com' _______________________________________________ yellowdog-general mailing list [email protected] http://lists.terrasoftsolutions.com/mailman/listinfo/yellowdog-general HINT: to Google archives, try '<keywords> site:terrasoftsolutions.com'
