Hi Derick,
Chris already answered your question. lsusb is part of the
usbutils package ("yum install usbutils").
And you must have done a plain "su" rather than a "su -" since
you didn't have /sbin or /usr/sbin in your PATH.
There's also the whereis command which doesn't depend on your
PATH, unlike the which command.
gwiz% whereis lsusb
lsusb: /sbin/lsusb /usr/share/man/man8/lsusb.8.gz
