Iain,
I don't understand--how is this relevant to the problem I raised regarding installing YDL 4.0 on a iMac G5?? And what, pray tell, is the "nano" software?

I use nano to edit the XF86Config file and with that program, just press CTRL + X and hit "y" for yes to save changes and then enter. I advise, as many would that you create a backup of your XF86Config file before saving any changes to it

Hi Peter
I am having the same problem with X on my iMac running YDL. I was wondering how you edit the XF86Config to keep the changes you made (reverse)
I'm a newbie and I can't seem to save my changes
Thanks
John
