I just purchased YDL from the website (With the Manuals). I have an
honest question and would appreciate an honest answer :O)
How easy/hard if YDL to install on my Macintosh? Is it pretty
straightforward? I was reading the HOW-TO's for Debian Linux and I
must admit I was confused as hell...
Thanks,
Brian P. Rosser
Hi Brian,
I'm not a terribly technical person and I managed to install it on a
Powerbook Wallstreet (which is oldworld) without a huge amount of
trouble. There were a couple of weird things, but when I asked the
list about them I got a lot of help really quickly. I've since sold
that powerbook on Ebay and have been thinking about installing
yellowdog on my desktop - the minor amounts of effort totally made it
worth it!
Cheers
Mike
