Sorry, James. If you examine carefully the link I provided to you will find that Terra Soft Solutions (TSS) lists the Performa 5200 on the same line as the Performa 6200. This means that your options are limited to what I recommended.

Cian:
It may be that I am remembering TSS's first product -- Champion Server 1.1! Still although I still have the CDs for it, as far as I know no public server has it available for download. There's another wrinkle regarding the Mac IIci, the 68030 was, for some, seen as a precursor to the G3. In any case, these older systems are interesting as a cross between archaeology and engineering; our memories and the discussion regarding these systems are academic.

James:
Only you can decide whether you are willing to decide whether the time (research) and cash (modifications and other hacks) to get the Performa working with YDL 2.3 is a worthwhile effort. Remember that even with the modifications you may make the TSS documentation it is very clear that nothing may in fact work.

Best wishes...

Is there any version of YDL that runs on this? any really old version? Maybe 2.3
runs on it. Or MKLINUX

 I believe I remember running YDL 2.3 when I had a Mac IIci which
was a 68030.

Derick - I doubt this. YDL has, as far as I can remember, been PowerPC only;
not Motorola 68000.

The other possibility is to attempt to get a PCI card or other card
(NuBus card?) which will fit into the Performa's slot which may have a
G3 on it. I have no idea if this is possible.

Its not - no processor upgrades for the 6200. Additionally, its 37.5Mhz FSB
would be crippling any upgrade - even a 604 - quite terribly.
