Hi am new to the list & new to Linux±YDL
Have sucessfully installed YDL 4.0.1 on an old G4 800Mhz PPC
Now downloaded the 4.1 distro - thereafter created the boot CDs
And now - bit ambitious I grant you! - am trying to figure out how I
load YDL 4.1
onto/into an X Serve G5 (2GhzDP/1Gb RAM) 3x 400Gb drives with a
MEGARAID card (Hardware RAID)
Thus I'm looking for any advice on how I find "old topics" - pre
covered on the Forum?
So as to save asking again if the ?s already been answered - I cannot
see any obvious links to RAID themes?
Seen the Archives but there a 100's!
Basically it appears that I need a "driver" to enable the YDL OS to
see the 1 big Logical drive that I have created with the original
APPLE tools. But where would I find it I wonder - ± has nobody else
tried this RAID 5 hardware setup?
