Hi Paul! Norberto earlier posted the following link regarding this topic: http://www.yellowdog-board.com/viewtopic.php?t=339 For the sake of completeness however, the link below should also be included as part of that same discussion: http://www.yellowdog-board.com/viewtopic.php?t=381 Consider also what sloppy shared regarding the kernel used for YDL 4.0; support for some OW Macs were left out. This could mean that you may have to build your own kernel or otherwise modify the YDL 4.0 kernel by adding specific modules supporting the OW machine you have. I'm sure sloppy or another could recommend something easier. It is unfortunate that the necessary information which could be useful is spread out over a variety of emails and comments which are too easy to miss. As usual, the victory of achieving one's goals goes to the most astute. Good Luck... I also would be interested in seeing an OW install guide to YDL 4.0.1, or even just a list of tips to make the install a little easier going. My other alternative would be to install Debian, which I use at work on an x86 machine, but like many here, I would really prefer to use YDL.-PRH On Saturday 26 August 2006 07:36, Derick Centeno wrote: |
