I just want to know if I will be able to use linux to its full
ability with
my ps3 hooked up to my t.v through a componant video cable?
Do I need to have a high definition or LCD t.v for this to work.
I just have a 32 inch sanyo t.v with s-video and componant video
inputs as
well as the regular inputs.
From the PS3 YDL install guide, page 4:
1. Attach your PS3 to a hi-definition TV or monitor using an HDMI
(digital)
or Component (5 RCA jacks) cable. Composite (yellow RCA jack) is not
supported as the resolution is too low.
www.terrasoftsolutions.com/support/installation/ps3/
install should work.
Good luck!
