Hi Paul: Basically OOWriter behaves rather like any other wordprocessor. First you have to have selected some word or item within the document you are working with to be copied, you can tell this has been done when that item is highlighted (and remains highlighted) after it has been chosen or selected. After the selection has been made with your mouse then the key combination to copy (ctrl - c) whatever you selected will function. To cut out a selection use ctrl-x. To paste an item into the document do ctrl-v.
ctrl refers to the control key. That's about it. It might take some practice to do this key combination properly. For instance the ctrl-c key combination (like the other combinations) is pressed simultaneously; that means the ctrl and c are pressed at the same time -- not one after another. Remember that no key combination will work without a selection having been made first. Best of Luck... Buena Suerte....
