When I install Fedora, I make a CD of the ISO files and then I put the first
CD in the CD reader and follow the instruction. I do not need a second
machine.

Is there an easier way to install Yellow Dog on IBM P-505 using CDs. I do
not mind to download the ISO files from the TerraSoft web site and burn them
into a CD and then install it.

Please let me know since I am under a critical deadline.

Thank you,
Mehran

We provide instructions for doing a netinstall at
http://www.terrasoftsolutions.com/support/solutions/ydl_general/net-install.
shtml
these instructions allow you to use a cd to boot the machine then use a
second machine connected via a network as an http server to server the
remainder of the DVD needed for installation.
