I don't think this is fixed. Following the exact same steps as above, the
common
prefix code seems to hide the full path in the modeline, but the path is
still
visible in the tab name which is using the buffer name, as well.
Perhaps the common prefix code should be applied to the tab name, also, and
we can
just keep the buffer name having the full path?
