New issue 331 by issac.vi...@gmail.com: yi has no Ubuntu or Debian package
http://code.google.com/p/yi-editor/issues/detail?id=331
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Log into an Ubuntu or Debian box.
2. $ apt-cache search '\<yi\>' | grep -i editor
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
yi should show up as a package, but there is no output.
There needs to be such a package because it is tricky to get yi to compile.
I never managed to get the version in cabal to build, but eventually got it
working by grabbing the latest source from git and then apt-get installing
libghc6-* packages each time cabal build failed.
Please provide relevant version information:
What version of Yi are you using?
What version of GHC?
What version of Cabal?
What operating system/version?
Linux 2.6.35-22-generic #33-Ubuntu SMP Sun Sep 19 20:32:27 UTC 2010 x86_64
GNU/Linux
If you generated it (--debug) please provide your .yi.dbg file
