just noticed in dev tasks manual in same paragraph i was whining about earlier, section 3.1.6, Note:
"Also, the layer priority does not currently affect the precedence order of .conf or .bbclass files. Future versions of BitBake might address this." um ... "currently"? wouldn't changing anything about this search/selection ordering break all sorts of stuff? i haven't been paying close attention, so has there been some sort of discussion about reworking how that ordering is done? that would seem to be a pretty major change. rday
