OK, clear. However, the "still supported" part would exclude older Fedora releases, even while perfectly usable for Yocto.
The Centos mismatch is annoying, can you please file a bug?

It is not really bothering me, but it might be for a novice user or someone wanting to run official, central builds on a Centos 7.x host.
or even set SANITY_TESTED_DISTROS to "" if you're using poky.
I added that in the bug report as a side note to add that as a comment to poky.conf.
