I've read about a few people using Chronosync for Yojimbo. I myself
use it for sync a document repository to a portable drive. Problem
with using it for Yojimbo is that it is a bit of an overkill - Yojimbo
stores all its data in one file. If you are in a situation where you
change data on both Yojimbo installations then the last changed one
will win (and be synced over the other database). Currently I'm just
syncing manually, dragging the db file to a usb drive I always have
with me. You could automate this process by using something like Do
Something When, freeware that lets you perform an action when a volume
is mounted.

Morning Paul
I am in the process of evaluating Yojimbo as well and agree the
program is very useful. In trying to get Yojimbo to sync using dot
mac, for me it has never worked. The support from BB in 15 days has
consisted of (1) series of steps to get it to sync (2) sending them
my logs. I am hopeful that the sync logs sent in 8 days ago will
reveal something but still waiting to hear back - there is a 10 day
delay with support.
In reading the mailing list I get the impression that syncing works
for most but then there is a percentage that it just does not work. I
have seen inferred there is something up with the apple side but not
what it is and that some people BB support just cannot get to sync. I
am not ready to give up as dot mac sync is very useful so hoping to
hear from support Monday.
On the off chance I am in the its not gonna work category. I went
looking for a different way to sync then as the support lag and very
real possibility it just may not work for me meant I needed a plan B.
I am using Chronosync to do a manual sync, when I know how that is
going I will post.
Regards
Tom
