I was in the process of troubleshooting sync with BB support when the update was released.

The combination of the advice I got from support and along with the 10.4.9 update restored synching for me too! With a data file that weighs in at about 125MB. Hooray! The sync errors are gone, and the data copies over to each Mac reliably.
