I'm been using QuickSilver app by BlackTree. I notice there is a
Yojimbo plugin, and I can find text from my Yojimbo database using QS.
I have a couple of questions about possible ways to us QS in my YJ
workflows:
1] Can I put a Yojimbo item on the Shelf such that when I double-click
on it, it opens in Yojimbo? When I drag a note onto the shelf, it
loses its title and clicking on it makes large text on the screen.
2] Is there any way I can Append Text to a text document in Yojimbo?
Here's what I have in mind: Invoke QS, type '.' (period), paste text,
tab, type 'app' ('append to..' appears), tab, type title of Yojimbo
item, enter. Everything works until I click enter, and then nothing
happens (just the Mac error sound).
3] Can I manipulate text from Yojimbo items at all using QS?
I store all my notes in Yojimbo, actions like 'Append to...' and
others could make my YJ data a lot more usable and accessibe.
4] What other YJ/QS workflows are out there? I've heard a few comments
here and there on this list, but I'm keen on learning more.
