This is a follow up to my earlier "Vanishing Information" report.
Unfortunately and for some utterly unknown reason, I can make
absolutely no changes to my Yojimbo database. Within moments of
changing, editing or adding information the changes and new
information disappear and the original documents remain.
This, I think, has something to do with Yojimbo trying to sync
with .Mac. (Purely speculative.) I have .Mac syncing of Yojimbo
disabled at the moment, so I am confused as to why this might be
happening. Perhaps it is a permissions issue.
{The issue first manifested itself on an iBook which I use which was
being sync'e, via .Mac, to my desk top machine. It has now migrated
to my desk top machine.)
The net affect it that I am no longer able to use Yojimbo and will
have to revert back to my previous database application.
Bizarre. If anyone can throw some ideas this way...

Hello,
I reported this type of problem a month ago on one of my machines
and do not know the status. I have not had a chance to follow the
threads in the forum. Please excuse me if this has been resolved or
is under investigation.
I am having a problem on a second machine where information I enter
into an existing note "disappears" _as I watch_ and is replaced by
older information. I think this may be related to .Mac Sync. I
suspect that a process is "syncing" the open file to an older one
while it is open and being edited.
For example:
I have a note open with previous information.
I enter new information.
Within in a moment or two the note "scrolls" to the top of the note.
I search for the new information and it is not in the note. Instead
the original text is in its place.
This is AMAZINGLY reproducible on this machine. In effect I have
had to stop using Yojimbo as a consequence.
Other odd behavior. I have an alert icon in the menu bar notifying
me that there is a .Mac Sync resolution error. However, Conflict
Resolver will not run. It launches and hangs. As a consequence I am
kind of "stuck" with some sort of sync error that I cannot resolve.
I suspect that this might be causing Yojimbo to "lose" new
information (revert back to a previous sync).
Just thought I would let you know.
Hang in there!
