Hi,
I'm trying to use applescript to update the contents of a note,
unsuccessfully. It's easy enough if the note's plain text, but I have
content in RTF files that I'd like to use to update existing notes,
retaining the formatting.
Reading the file into a variable results in freaky RTF code; I
suppose this is because applescript doesn't really do styled text. I
thought I might be able to get away with importing the file and
copying the contents from the new note to the old, but I'm not having
much luck with that either. (Creating a variable with the note's
contents strips out the formatting.)
I could just create a new note and delete the old one, but I'd really
rather not.
Oh yeah, and I'd really like to be able to do rtfd as well :-)
Can anyone help?
