Also, other than Yojimbo, is it worth the steep price?

I want to know more about the syncing too. Firstly it's definitely worth the price for the software if you don't have it, it's streets ahead of Palm Desktop. But the syncing with YJ apparently has the (unforgivable, to me) drawback that the severe limits on the memo app mean that notes are truncated. So if you have a longish YJ note, it goes to the Palm, you make any changes, then the shorter, newer, version goes back to YJ. Personally i think this is a bit sloppy - it should omit the long ones. Otherwise you will be constantly watching out not to go over the limit. To my mind, they should have taken over MacNoteTaker or something instead, which allows longer notes.

The possibility of losing data this way makes me very nervous of using it, though at first I was really pleased.

Perhaps the answer is that YJ can have a category of note that is limited to the size of a memo? But I'm not that convinced by that being such a useful tool.
