When you drag a PDF from Apple Mail make sure that you don't have any
additional text selected, and you are dragging by clicking on the
attachment. (If the PDF is displayed inline you can choose "View as
Icon" from the enclosures contextual menu to have a more well defined
target.)
If you have text selected, Mail will put rich text in the drag, and
no PDF file. Yojimbo will create a note from this rich text.
If you drag just the attachment (by clicking on the attachment icon)
Mail will put the PDF in the drag, and Yojimbo will create a PDF
Archive.
