Some time ago, when the question of project graduation came up I cited
two very important issues I had with the state of the project.
1) The lack of assistance with the Geronimo certification error
2) The lack of responsiveness to dev-level questions asked on the
mailing list.
I'm now involved in the same effort with Geronimo 2.0, which has tests
that run against a different reference implementation from the 1.2
effort. I've been running into problems and I again find that my
questions posed to the list get no response.
I find myself in a situation with a problem now where I really need
someone who understands the specifics of the GIOP interface and the IIOP
transport layer to get cleared for TCK access to at least be able to
discuss the issues I'm seeing. Here's the opportunity to change my
opinion on the graduation question....is there anybody still involved
who can assist me with the certification process?
