Hi Lukas,

The xml schema is much richer than idl, so it might very well be the
case that we do not properly support some schema types. We have some
tests cases in the tools directory for the wsdltoidl. Also, if you have
a particular problem, let us know & we will take a look.

There are some wiki documents for the tools available in
http://cwiki.apache.org/YOKO/design-documents.html

But these are design documents & we do not have proper documentation yet
on the tools. I will try to put up a draft version sometime next week.

Thanks

Balaji

Subject: Normal form of the WSDL

Hello,

I am evaluting the Apache Yoko because we need IDL<->WSDL transformer in
our
project. I think IDL->WSDL direction works great but I am afraid about
the
inverse direction, from WSDL to IDL. According to our tests Yoko fails
very
often. Do the WSDL files have to be in such a normal form to get
translated
without errors? Is there some document decribing what WSDL definition
must
have and which constructions are not allowed?

If we decide to use Yoko I am interested in such a document. I would
like to
help with writing it then.
