The reason i wanted to add this is not to add any new features, but it will just make it simpler for our users to run applications as root. And why not have a script to do it instead of documenting how to fix it and getting questions about it all the time.

After looking a little more at it im not 100% sure if xon is the script i was looking for.

So what does xon do actually? And what does xhost + do that is limiting when
starting X-app as another user?

Hi

With all yoper version i have tried i think it has been impossible to run
X apps as other users then the one that is running the x session. I know
how to fix it, but why not let the user run it without any hassle ?

Most distros lets users do this and i think most of them do it with the
xon script. What do you think about adding it to the iso?
