There is no CPU and/or IO bound bottleneck on the server. Perhaps there
were changes in routing between your location and the location of the
server (Karlsruhe Germany).

Another possibility is, that your system has support for IPv6. The
server for yoper.com is reachable via IPv6. If the IPv6 peering of your
provider is bad, this could cause problems. Modern browsers try IPv6
first, if an AAAA-Record exists.
