1) i added it to beta .. but beta appears to be non functional on the buildserver currently .. so i moved it to dynamite as .. the package appears to be dynamite already .. but off course i am only human and i can be wrong :) ..
2) i found out that leaving out a necessary requires for this package doesnt make smart install the necessary requires by itself .. the requires necessary is compat-libstdc ... to make things work out of the box i will add this requires for now TobiG .. if you know another way to resolve this .. please do tell .. :) ...
For now enjoy firefox 1.5.0.3 ... latest package will be firefox_static-1.5.0.3-5 on dynamite

in fact static builds are in most cases faster than shared builds, but
you could not affort to make a whole distribution statically build.
This would increase the size of the distribution too much.
