Yoper Devs,

I agree that getting the Yoperstuff.com layout on the main Yoper.com website
is a great idea. I am currently working on some contracted work that entails
heavy incorporation of Joomla, its extensions, and other neat stuff into a
website. I think for the photos thing mentioned below, and maybe even the
screenshots section. The Gallery2 extension to Joomla would be a good idea:

I've incorparted it into the site I'm working on now and I like it alot.
Walter, do you think I could have a week or a week and a half on the
Yoperstuff.com site? I'd like to see if I can manipulate that header for our
forums and bugtracker. Or just the source code for the theme would be
sufficient I think :) although being able to play with it on Yoperstuff.com
would be prefered. Anyway, just send me a personal email (
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ) with what you think.

Time to stop talking about the changeover and just do it ;) Implementing the
aforementioned does not change the long-term plan though. I think there
could still be a lot of good in planning the horizontal main menus and the
vertical sub-sections to the site. (Or that's how I picture it at least.)
I'll start a wiki section for input on it tomorrow.

For this up coming week I have a challenge for the group.

Well its not really much of a challenge but I would like for each of you to
send me a screen shot of your desktop. I would like for you to list the
font, the windeco, and any other features that you have on your desktop that
you think are of interest. I will be building a screenshot gallery at
yoperstuff.com so that we can see what the devs of the Yoper world Yoper
Desktops look like.

Also, at some point I would like to have a digital photo of a head shot of
all the developers. I know that you all may not want to share this so don't
feel obligated but I think that it does help to give Yoper a human touch
when you see the people who are behind the coolest Linux distro in the
World.
Thanks,
Walter
