Hi, I think it would be very nice to see some forum thread about the upcoming release. I am not really a forums guy, tho . And I also don't know what to say.
Sure will start one :) So maybe some testing user, who tested the ISO could say something about
yoper's current state and what's supposed to happen within the next time.
Ok, I downloaded the weekly slim ISO. The bootup process is pretty kewl with this ISO. It added the *installcd *channel to smart after installation which helped me to install kde from my previous full iso. Then installed GNOME by adding the lordtweety's repo. The command to install gnome is, *1) smart install gnome-base metacity gtk2 gnome-vfs-monikers* I think thats the full command, if that does not work, please ping me so that I can give you the full command as soon as I get back home from my office. I had very little time that I could not take a screenshot :D GNOME is 80% complete as far as I have tested it. Credits goes to Kaneri, aka, lordtweety :D Meanwhile, I would test GNOME and come out what should be done to make it pretty well.Believe me yoperians, GNOME looks tooo good than KDE in Yoper :D Next to test would be Xfce which would be pettern's desktop :D Enjoy !
