Hi mates, I'm happy to announce taht we have a new OO testing release. It includes KDE integration and multilingual support. The first one is (now I know) that QT will be used instead of GTK when available. However, the file browsing pop up windows won't be the ones KDE has, but the same OO uses but based on QT. The second one is quite clear, all OO supported languages are now available. However, due to the huge storage needs this means, I have only copied to my server those I think will be used, since I don't have much free space. If I've forgotten ANY language are willing / want to test, PLEASE, just let me know and I'll copy it too inmediately.

Everything is at: ftp://linuxlandia.homelinux.com/pub/yoper/openoffice/

There, you will see a few languages, select yours (or let me know if not found) and install all package just below the RPMS dir. Once done, you'll have to install the package openoffice.org-freedesktop-menus below the desktop-integration dir within the RPMS dir.

I have only tested OO in Spanish (es) and looks good. Please, try to test all languages you know, paying special attention to your mother tongue's.

I hope vonlunteers bring up like flowers in Spring.... :-D

Best regards!

Carlos aka Musikolo

PS: Patient is gift God gives us, use it while download it from my box... ;-)
PS2: A few data about the build process, just for sake of curiosity:

CPU:
    Athlon 1.2 GHz
Memory:
    768 MB
Build Time:
Started on Fri Mar 23 23:40:33
Ended on Sun Mar 25 04:22:35
Storage usage:
    9.2G
Parallel task:
none => 100% (or almost) of CPU time was for building OO
