Dear Mathieu and Chakkaradeep,

Thank you very much. Since neither the GPL, nor the Creative Commons
License are identical to Avahi's LGPL License, we will need two
license files for the avahi package: one for avahi and one for the
icon. So the %doc line of avahi.spec should be something like this:

%doc LICENSE Avahi-AppIcon/COPYING.AppIcon docs/*

I am attaching Avahi-AppIcon.tar.gz with Mathieu's icon and a
COPYING.AppIcon file acknowledging Mathieu's work and reproducing the
text of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5 License
Agreement.

If Mathieu prefers, the text of the Creative Commons
Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5 License Agreement may be changed to the
text of the GPL/LGPL.

Hi Chakkaradeep and Mathieu,

Here's a draft package of creative-commons-pixmaps-0.1-1.src.rpm with
Mathieu's avahi icon. I believe that the legally best solution is to
put Mathieu's icon into a separate package to avoid license conflict
between Creative Commons licensed avahi.png and LGPL-licensed avahi.
If you use this solution then creative-commons-pixmaps should be added
to the Requires field of avahi.spec.

Is this OK for both of you?

Regards,

Ariszló
