Hi Tobias,
I have just upgraded my system and I noticed a new yoper-initscripts package
was available. However, localization does not work anymore. Please, make
sure the patches I sent you have been applied suitably. I noticed the LANG
variable is not exported among other things.

PS: I couldn't use any success or echo_success function since they do not
work.
They are part of a bigger scheme. One simple example to use it would be:
echo -n $"Refreshing GTK2 Caches: "
daemon /usr/bin/update-gtk2-caches.sh
