I think i had the same screen issue where the graphics would tend to even
wrap around on the screen sometimes

my soloution for that was in XFree86config/xorg.conf
in the lines for the screen config make sure that it has the maximum
resolution you intend on using in KDE for each color dept
something like this

SubSection "Display"
               Depth 24
               Modes "1280x1024" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
endsubsection

 Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have tested Yoper 3.0RC1.

I ran into a video screen problem, which I recognized from KANOTIX and
Knoppix (versions from last year).
The screen-picture was projected far to the left (so ran off the screen).
I have a Matrox Millenium G400.
When I lowered the screen resolution to 800x600 the position was OK.
However I hope that you can resolve the problem, so that I can use
1280x1024 again.

Then at installing the distro, the GRUB bootloader could not be stored
into the partition where the distro was installed. Can you please include
this option?
Since I have had disastrous experiences because of using the
GRUB/Lilo-Bootloader into the MBR, I principally do never anymore store the
bootloader of GRUB or LILO into the MBR.
I store the bootloader into the partition of installation, and use GAG as
the multi-boot-menu (installing initially with a boot-floppy).
Then I can never loose access anymore to any OS, and changeing or getting
rid of the boot-menu (with the installation-floppy) is very simple and
quick.

I hope you can do somthing with above points. Your distro-policy seems
very attractive to me, so I am interested in further testing/using.

Best Regards
Jan Overbeek
