Hi,


We're proud to announce the distribution release of yoper 3.0
titanium. It is the first stable release in a long time for Yoper.

Development did not stand still and a lot has been going on behind the
scenes. This release features kernel 2.6.21.1 including the -ck
patchset with the SD scheduler. It ships xorg 7.2 and beryl for
desktop effects. It furthermore comes with kde 3.5.7, koffice 1.6.3.
and Firefox 2.0.0.4 as well as a large number of other cutting-edge
desktop packages available via online repositories.

This release is shipped in 4 flavors. A slim cd with 142 MB , the
regular single cd with 690 MB which is supposed to be the most
appropriate choice for the regular linux user. Furthremore are a live
cd with 704 MB and a  DVD with 3.7 GB available. The DVD is available
as torrent only, but will be well seeded. Trackers will be announced
within 48 hours after release.
