Greetings,

I have encountered some bugs with the installation of Yoper. I have
downloaded the Yoper Live and the Yoper Installation CDs. I am not new
to Linux and I know how to create ISO images. I have installed several
versions of Linux, and I have had success rewritting the GRUB so I could
access every OS I have installed. The problems were as follows:
1. On the installation CD, it kept trying to install itself where it
wanted to go instead of where I wanted it to go. I have two HDs on my
PC. The Primary is for Windows XP Pro which I use exclusively for video
intensive games. The Slave is for general and Internet uses which is
Linux (PCLinuxOS 2007, Ubuntu 7.04, Vector, Fedora 7, Linspire,
Freespire). I have left open three partitions for testing installations
and have allowed about 11.67 G for Swap (even though I have 512 Megs of
RAM). I wanted to install on my Slave, but the installation by default
wanted to install on my Primary. I tried several times, but every time
I set it for what I wanted, it informed me that it was going to install
on my Primary.
2. The Live CD, although it appears to have an installation, will not.
The (x) remains firmly locked on Live.

Maybe there is something I have missed, but I don't think so.

Daniel Hamilton
