Hi Harris,

you should have a root password, at least the installer must have asked for it
to you. Asumming you remember that password, do:

su - (enter root password)
nano /etc/passwd

Then you should see a line starting by 'harris winer family'. Replace 'harris
winer family' for simply 'harris'. Becareful not to change anything else as
this is a very important file.
Save (Ctrl+O) and exit (Ctrl+X)

If you also need to change your old password, issue:

passwd harris (Type your new password)

If you have any further problem, please, post your questions at
http://www.yoper.com/forum/ There are a lot of user willing to help you out.

I hope it helps.

Regards! :-)

It took me a long time to install Yoper, but i am happy that so far it works.
My problem is that i forgot my user name, well actually i know it but i doesn't
work.

maybe the user name is too long?

is there a root password for Yoper?

Thanks a lot,
