PadSynth apply status and indication has been 'interesting'! This was never actually maintained. It was set the first time you hit the apply button and then only cleared on main resets so attempting to read the status in the CLI gave nothing sensible. The display in the GUI was entirely internally adjusted, and resonance/waveform weren't in sync. In particular, every time you opened the waveform window it would set the main padsynth one to red - even if no controls had been touched.
They are now fully in sync if visible, but not if a change is made via the CLI while hidden. While working on this I've discovered another anomaly :( The protect 1st button does nothing in padsynth - it only works for addsynth. This behaviour goes right back to Zyn 2.2.1, so should we hide/deactivate it, or would it be possible to make it active? Anyone interested in following up on this?
