Needless to say, just tewaking some params like the inharmonic overtones
with a longer transition time can be quite inspiring.
For me the next steps are now...
- see if I can improve the fade curve to keep the volume constant
(probably need to square the mix factors)
- provide hooks for state transitions, where we can attach the
visual state changes for the UI.
- investigate the timing/performance degradation on short notes.
- expand PADsynth coverage in the Testsuite
