And I think they shouldn't. If you use the 440Hz switch together with the Eq. T. knob, then the frequency will still vary, and it is expected that the stretch obeys this.

There are also good use cases for the stretch even without Eq. T. Imagine if you have a short percussive sound which you vary the length of by using different keys on the keyboard.
