I'm thinking of making this soon, it's been a long time since the last release.

I'm also thinking of moving to C++17 as our minimum standard. I understand
there are a number of benefits to this, and it still leaves (at least) a 5 year
margin for people working on older systems.

The CLI copy/paste feature seems to be complete and stable for those most
interested in it, although not much of the GUI updates are done. This is
completely unnoticeable when working entirely from the GUI and won't be
mentioned beyond saying 'preliminary' work is under way.

In the process of doing all this I've found (and fixed) a number of bugs and
oddities. In particular the Formant window has better control and positive
indication when looking at a vowel that's not currently in use.

I've updated the "Control Numbers" PDF. While doing this I noticed that 'offset'
is now 0 in much of PadSynth. Is there a particular reason for this? I've
generally set 255 (UNUSED) for anything that is to be ignored.

I've shuffled some of the 'Control' enum values down to make room for the
dedicated TOPLEVEL ones that are intended to be accessible from anywhere, and do
exactly the same thing. This now includes copyPaste (although marked as 'not
yet').

The user guides still need quite a bit of rewriting, particularly in the
Advanced one with far more detail about how to use the Formant editor :(

In the latest build I've also added 'Finger Snap' and 'Wood Block' to drums,
and 'cello' to my companion bank :)

Exchange them and we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.
