There is a warning on debian that they will be dropping support for versions below 3.10 - and we've be specifying 3.5 as the minimum. Therefore in the next build I'll be setting it to 3.12. This is a 7 year old version and in the same ballpark as our C++ version, so I think gives enough margin.
