I think this pretty much completes changes that were first mooted about a year ago - in outline at least!
It's in master, but I'm not pushing out another release just yet. it's a bit soon after the last one, and I'd like Yoshimi to have a bit more new stuff to attract attention :) You can now change bank names if you want to. This will make a real change to the name on files in the same way as changing instrument manes does. Up to now, if you wanted to change the name of and instrument you could do it from the main window by right-clicking on the instrument name, of from the instrument window by right clicking on the appropriate slot. The latter seems quite wrong to me as you already have a row of 'operations' along the bottom of the window. What's more, this hidden operation was active regardless of which actual operation was selected. What I have done is to provide a 'Rename' button for this, and changed the names of some of the others to be more musician friendly. I've also changed some of the highlight colours so they now range from green for 'Select' (the most benign operation) to red for 'Delete'. The last change I've made is to use the right mouse click instead of the middle one for closing when selecting or changing windows. I realised that with the middle button also being the scroll wheel on many mice you could easily git it misbehaving :( -- Will J Godfrey http://www.musically.me.uk Say you have a poem and I have a tune. Exchange them and we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download BIRT iHub F-Type - The Free Enterprise-Grade BIRT Server from Actuate!
