Thanks Jonathan :) Rather than trying to find some way of copying all the old archives across to the new list, I'm rather inclined to just provide a link to them. If sourceforge does collapse completely I would hope that by then the archives would be so old as to be unimportant.
Meanwhile, as I said I would make a monthly reminder post on the old lists, not only to catch any stragglers, but also to keep them from Zombifying. If anyone has any objections, or alternative suggestions please let me know this week as I intend to do the switcheroo over the weekend, when I'll have plenty of time to check everything out. I'll probably actually try to start the list on Friday, as I don't know how long it will take for it to be approved. I'll open only one list so will probably simply call it 'yoshimi' if that's available. In any case I'll obviously post details here and on the 'devel' list. Finally, as soon as the new list is up, I'll post a refresher on the latest discussions.
