I had to scartch my head a bit over that one, but eventually remembered.
The cmake people are getting rid of some of their old policies and in future
versions trying to set them will itself be reported as a bug!
If someone tries to compile without these settings on and older version that
can also cause a problem. It was simpler just to bump up our minimum
requirement - it's been out a long time now.


I was also a bit surpried to see anyone posting on the old list!

I chuck updates on here occasionally just to keep it alive, and give us a n
instant backup if there is ever a problem with freelists.
