Exchange is not my area of expertise. I'm including the list on this. Most
of the guys use Exchange and can help. As far as the categories go, if you
enter the category in one of the fields, you can sort on the field. Look
under View in the Menu bar and select Columns. You'll see what's available.
This would mean going back to your original contacts that had categories and
doing this. You can probably assign the category to the filed using a
script.

As far as Holidays go, try a custom view- Category is holiday.
