This is a Finder issue. The Finder sees the file as two separate files with
the same name.

Let's be sure the file is not being saved in the Entourage
"save attachments" folder. This might be causing the rebuild error. I have
seen cases where the user received the rebuild error and this was fixed by
simply moving the Microsoft User Data folder to the desktop. Let Entourage
create a new one, then move the individual folders back to the new Microsoft
User Data folder.

You could use Save As and name it with the date to differentiate between the
versions.
