A plain text mail message is about 4k in size. Very very tiny. Moving them out of Entourage to your Desktop probably won't save you any space. And to recoup that space you would have to drag your messages out and then use the Database Utility to compact your Database, which can take a while depending on the size of your Database. If you're concerned about space then consider removing attachments, especially from messages you've sent yourself. You already have them somewhere already. Or consider just getting a larger hard drive. Space is cheap these days. Hope this helps! -- bill William M.
