for some tips that may be helpful. So far it is working great for my setup. Dick Ps: To further reduce the size of the active Database, I just opened the Sent Items-08 folder, selected All and used the Message/Remove All Attachments command. In a few weeks I will do the same thing to the Inbox-08. In March or April, I will probably delete both folders as they are backed up in my Archived Mail 2001 to 2007 identity. It's not to late to start over with clean Database for 2009.
