Set this window to the Calendar. You can also add the calendar to the folder list and it switches to the calendar view, but you do loose the message view. It's a tad easier than using the top buttons to switch views. This doesn't show the calendar, but it does give you the event or task window. Under the Script icon in the Menu bar, select one of the default scripts: Create Task from Message Create Note from Message Create Event from Message I recently hooked up a second monitor to my computer and I can't tell you how great this is for situations like this.
