On my first install of 10.6 I noticed the dupes in the Font Book. It flags
dupes with yellow-icon. Check it and you can spot the dupes. Diane's
suggestion to just delete them from the Microsoft folder sounds like a
better (easier) approach. I did it the hard way by using the Font Book's
File/Resolve Duplicates on each one. This resolves (turns the dupes
inactive and dimmed) but does not remove the font. I then had to go
back and use the right-click to delete the dimmed fonts. Diane's solution
is better.
