I have been trying to send doc and docx attachments to my iPhone. When I send them via Mail.app, I can read the attachments just fine. When I send them via Entourage, the iPhone gives me the message "Invalid File Format".
Other files are read just fine (pdf, txt, xls/xlsx, etc). I have tried removing completely and reinstalling office. I have tried changing fonts. I have tried changing encoding methods. It's not just my machine though. My co-workers have the same trouble when they send via Entourage, as do my clients. None of us can read doc or docx files on our fully up-to-date iPhones using fully up-to-date versions of Entourage. Anyone seen this and solved it? Happy to test with anyone who wants to participate.
